Report on outreach to Muslims on Capitol Hill

Thank you for those who prayed for us who went to the Muslim gathering on Capitl Hill on Friday, Sep 25. We had a team of total 23 people filled with God's love & His presence. There were only 3000 Muslims that showed up to this event. They anticipated 50 000 to come, but for some reason they did not unify like they hoped for, which means their voice was not heard the way they aimed to. The news even barely covered it.

 I believe it was a result of Christians praying & fasting! We split up in small teams and were strategically located in different places. The main place where they were all praying (in front of Capitol) only had 2 exits at the back. So we had a couple teams at both exits. We followed the strategies that God gave us: to go to them with love, look them in the eyes, showed them value and put the the DVD "More Than Dreams (www.morethandreams.org - testimonies of Muslims get saved by Jesus visiting them in dreams) in their hands to take it home with them. When they asked me what it was about, I told them it was a DVD of dreams Muslims are having in different countries.

 Quite a few were excited to take it and some even asked me for more to give to thier friends. I am still counting how many dvds we have left, but I think we gave out about 1200 DVDs - which means about 1 out of every 3 took that powerful DVD home. We got to pray with some. One of them who had pain in his knee and using a walking stick, got prayed for by one of team members. After being prayed for, God healed him on the spot, started walikng fine without using the walking stick. We know that the impact done on these Muslims was more than we could see.

Most of what we did was sowing seeds, by using that DVD to be taken to Muslim homes. Keep in mind that the ones that showed up to this gatheringwere zealous Muslims. We look forward to hear from them by e-mail (we made up an e-mail and stuck it on the back of the DVDs so they could reach us that way.
