Alone with God
It is heart breaking that so many do not pray and spend time alone with God. The time of prayer diminished to a few minutes, few quick prayers or just reading a few verses from the Bible. What is lacking is love! When you’re in love, you can’t wait to be with the one you love. Both of you can’t wait to spend time together, especially alone. God loves you and desires you so much. He loves to spend time with you. He wants you to know Him and He wants to know you! Prayer should be an excitement and not drudgery. When you come to the place where you enjoy God and you know He enjoys you and He continually waits on you, seeking God for an hour; few hours; all day or all night becomes easy and addictive. Alone with God is where you are made clean, made pure, and are transformed. Faith also comes from spending time alone with God. From that place it becomes a joy to live a consecrated and focused life to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. That is where He shares His heart and love with you, for yourself and others including the lost (the ones who do not know Him and do not live for Him).
If anything or anyone (could be a girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, your children or grandchildren) has your heart more than God, STOP and Turn Around. Turn to Jesus Christ! He is waiting to capture 100% of your heart! Anything less than that is either a divided heart, a cold heart or a hard heart. Do not wait any longer, give Him your heart now. You can only fall in love and be transformed when you repent and give your heart away to Jesus.
Be disciplined to spend quality and quantity time with God. At first you may not feel and experience all you desire, but stay faithful & disciplined. He will reveal Himself more to you. He never fails. The more you spend time with Jesus, the more you will know Him. The more you know Him, you will impact and change your world.
