The Life and Ministry of Jesus continues through us today!John 14:12 Amp “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.”
I John 4:7 “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.”
Mark 16:17,18 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
The purpose of Jesus pouring out His Spirit in all believers today is that so He can continue to live through us today. His life is still the same, His ministry still continues through us today.
Here are examples from God’s Word proving that just as He is so are we in this world: John 2:11
‘This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].’ Jesus started His ministry with signs and miracles and as a result the disciples believed in Him and followed Him:
